Room upgrades?

Hi all,

I don't think this is possible but thought I'd ask anyway. We have 2 nights booked at HH in January. We booked a studio because we used most of our points for our WDW GV trip in June ....but I am curious to know if once we arrive at HH, is it possible to upgrade to a 1brm with cash?

I dont believe that you can "upgrade" to a differrent size room in the traditional sense. What you can do, while the 1 bdrm may still be avaliable right now if you really want it; Call MS and see if they have discounted DVC "Cash" inventory for a 1 Bdrm during your dates, use up your points on however many days you can and pay cash for the remainder days of the trip. It would be considered one reservation so that you wouldn't have to move during the trip. Also before calling I believe that DVC Cash inventory does not change with the days of the week (Should be confirmed by MS first) and if it doesn't, use your points on the weekdays and cash on the weekends, your points will absorb more days of the reservation this way and by doing it this way (If a 1 Bdrm is what you want and not just "if they have it mabye we will get it") You'll more than likely "lock in" the 1 Bdrm now if avalaible or at least know if you will not have a chance to get one when you arrive because they are all reserved.
