Hi everyone! I have booked two woods view rooms (and requested queen with bunks in both) for February at the WL.

Could anyone give any suggestions for "good" rooms with these requests? Are higher floors prone to better views, etc...

I realize that a woods view could be just a look at the villas, etc... but I of course wanted to try for best available view - should I just say exactly that in my request?

Also, now that there is no more faxing, should I just call and add these requests to my ressie? Best time to do this is?

Thanks so much everyone! :D

We stayed in room 2002 and loved it! I imagine the higher floors would have a better view but we loved it.

This was the view from our balcony..

You should call CRO and tell them you want North wing, 5th floor. resorts are now going by request codes on your ressie.

Hi Florida Cat!

What views do you have in the 5th floor woods view rooms?

Also, I am thinking of booking woods view/concierge.Are the 7th floor woods views good?

If I am standing so that I face the middle of the "U", so that the pool and inner courtyard is in front of me,which is the north wing and which is the south. That part confuses me:crazy:

And I know the concierge level is on the 7th floor, but does that consist of rooms on both the N. and S. wings, with the lounge part being what looks over the lobby?

I had room #5032 and the picture below was my view. This room is a "woods" view room and has 2 queen beds. For more pics of the room & view, just click on my link below. This is a great room. It's close to the elevator, but I found it to be quiet. It's a quick walk to the boat dock & pool, as well as to Roaring Forks & the lobby. Just a little bit longer to the bus stop.

Thanks everyone!!!! I know my request might not be granted, but at least I know I tried to point myself in the right direction!!:D

Not Floridacat but hope I can help, The best Woodsview from 5th floor would overlook otter pond with a Castle View which Terk-1 posted. *Some of the Woodsviews in the North Wing also overlook service area for restaurants

If you are standing in the Lobby looking out at the pool and inner courtyard the North Wing would be to your left...South Wing would be to your Right.

::yes:: Concierge level has rooms in both Wings.

My only comment was I know you said you had two rooms booked and requested bunk beds in both rooms. Well, I was told when I had two rooms and requested connecting was that each room with a bunk bed connects to a room with two queens, so I don't think it is possible to get two rooms next to each other both with bunk beds. But maybe you're not concerned with connecting rooms, so that's okay. But we were on the 4th floor overlooking the otter pond which we really liked. I just requested a room with the "pond". Keep in mind, that while we could see the castle, the castle is really, really small and in the distance. But, we still liked watching the otters.

pnelson is correct, there are no connectiong rooms where both have queen/Bunk.

We've been thinking about spending three or four nights at WL next trip with a woods view. We had courtyard view last time. I read so much about the Otter Pond. Does anyone know if there is a picture posted somewhere of this pond? I'd really like to see it. Thanks.
