Room size OKW vs VWL ?

Is there a big difference between the studios at OKW & VWL ?? Has anyone stayed at both and can give me an opinion?

I think the biggest difference is the huge bathrooms in the OKW studios.

Dianeschlicht - good to know. Is the smaller bathroom the regular hotel size bathroom?

The bathrooms in all the studios are bigger than in a regular hotel room, especially if the hotel rooms are at All Stars or Caribbean. If you are talking about the more expensive resorts, like Poly, it's been awhile, but I think they are about the same size.

I've stayed in both. OKW is bigger, certainly, but I like the VWL studios because of the sofa. To me it feels like you have more room. The layout of the room also makes it easier to put a crib by the door, away from the rest of the room.

While the OKW Studios have more room, I think the other resorts feel bigger because you can fold up the sofa and reclaim the room during the day.

OKW studios feel like a regular hotel room with the addition of a mini kitchenette located in a hallway leading to the bathroom.
The studios in the other on site DVC resorts actually feel like and indeed are studio apts.
The bathroom at OKW is larger because everything is in one room, the other studios have a very nice sized sink and vanity area seperated from the toilet and tub, which provides space for more than one person getting ready and also the sink/vanity area is opposite of the kitchenette area so it also makes the kitchenette area more open and roomy and much more well lit.

The OKW bathroom is probably about the same size as those at the Polynesian.....but I'd say the studio bathrooms at BWV and VWL are about the same as at the moderates. That's just counting the toilet/tub/shower area...not the vanity. The vanity at the DVC resorts is larger, I think.
