Room Services v. Table Service...Tipping Question

A thought occured to me recently...if you opt for room service and/or the buffets rather than table service on a particular day, do you still tip the table servers for the day?
 
Yes. You are supposed to tip the waitors in the restaurants even if you never eat there. This is how they make their money, and you are tipping for other meals on the ship that they (or their colleagues) may surve you....breakfast, dinner at Topsiders, lunch anywhere.... You still need to tip them at least the suggested amount, but I always get such EXCELLENT service, that I tip more!:sunny:
 
I also tipped the room service person $2.00 every day when they brought my coffee/breakfast and gave him a $10 phone card at the end of the week.
