Room Service?

We tip about $2 per delivery but would tip more if we ordered many items. I always keep a stack of singles in the drawer for this purpose.

I like to go with a bunch of $1 Gold coins. You can get them at the Post Office. It's just something different.

Last year, my niece and nephew (twins, 9 at the time) thought it was great that we could order Mexican pizza, chocolate chip cookies and Mickey bars at 11pm. My nephew thought it was especially cool that he could place the order himself Both times we ordered, the food arrived in about twenty minutes.
I usually tipped two or three dollars, nephew also enjoyed being the one that tipped. We are already looking forward to next year!

Room service is available 24 hours a day, except for the last morning - not sure what time it stops - 1am maybe? unless you are in cats. 1-3.

Mickey bars and Uncrustables are available through room service but are not on the menu.

Some people enjoy warm cookies & milk before bedtime :goodvibes

Someone posted pics of some of the items they received from room service - I think it was on the Food Pics thread - it all looked yummy :)

Tell me what Uncrustables are please!:)

Thats good to know about the speed of room service. My DS often get impatient when it comes to food.

On a cruise, your DH will have more food than he knows what to do with. During the day, you can also get food on deck 9 at several counter service locations. If you don't want to dress for or sit through a regular dinner in your assigned dining room, you can also go to Topsiders/Beach Blanket Buffet at dinner time. Cove Cafe has pastries and snacks available whenever they are open and several of the lounges have snacks late at night.

Anyone know what the prices are, roughly for the beer and or water packages? Do they 'rip you' on them, or are they fair priced? Also, on that, I asked somewhere else, what about the bars? What are the prices for drinks and stuff there?

Pre-packaged peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. You can request that they bring these unopened, and take them with you as a snack at port.

I think I saw $35 for a case of water, but not sure. Did you know you can bring a soft cooler on the ship with your own alcohol, water, etc? You can ask your room steward to keep your cooler full of ice for you to keep it cold, too.

We paid $40 for an Evian 24-pack, which is obviously higher than in a store. But it depends on how you define "ripped-off" - we didn't have to lug it with us to the ship, pack it in the car, etc. The convenience was worth it for me.

Hi ,

I always tip in cash, I get $1;s espically for this purpose.

I always get choc milk and cookie at bedtime (i'm a big kid)

I also like to nibble on the cheese and biscuits or cake of the day.

I have heard you can get Peanut butter and jelly sarnies - this I want to try.;)

Are "sarnies" sandwiches? And if not, what are they?:confused3
