Room service at Poly?

Are you able to get a pizza from room service at the Poly? I don't see it on All ears but I know sometimes they don't include everything. I just find it strange that WL and CR have it available but not the Poly. We will be on the deluxe dining plan and would love to use a few credits for room service.

Pizza has been on the Polynesian room service menu as many years as we've been staying there...beginning in 1983. However, our last stay was 1/09.

There are always folks posting there that are either at the Polynesian or just back.

2) But, a lot cheaper to order Domino's or Papa John's.

I was interested in this also. Not to hijack the thread but are Dominos or Papa John permitted to deliver to WDW resorts? Or would we need to pick it up ourselves? Just curious ... thanks --

1) Outside vendors (pizza, Chinese, etc) can deliver to all resorts.
2) At the Deluxe, they are supposed to drop off at Bell Services.
. . . then, you can pick up from Bell Services
. . . then Bellmen can deliver to your room
3) At all others, they take to the room.

NOTE: Although they are *supposed* to drop at Bell Services, many still deliver to the room at Deluxe resorts.

This is especially good advice if you are on the Dining Plan. You definitely don't want to burn 2 TS credits for room service.

Thanks for the info. DH was asking about this too. We drive so we could go out ... but I am lazy and on vacation ... and delivery sounds fun! It's also good to know pizza is on the In Room menu. We always SAY we might order in ... but we usually end up walking over to Capt. Cooks --

In 25 years of staying at The Poly I never even knew you could do this !

In a certain way, I suppose it would break the illusion. But, it sure would be nice to save the money...
