Room requests not showing

I just received my Reservation confirmation letter today for our stay in the Polynesian in January.

When I booked I requested garden view, 3rd floor non-smoking in Fiji longhouse, but all that is showing on the letter is 'prefer non-smoking'.

Are special requests normally entered on the letter, or are you just in the computer system?

I'm staying at CSR, actually leaving tomorrow, Yahoo! and I requested building 8a. When I got my confirmation letter, that was printed on there. Give them a call and make sure your request is in the computer. They will tell you it isn't guaranteed yadayadayada. Just call a few days before you leave and "confirm" that your request is still there.

We have never had requests show up on our confirmation(except non-smoking guaranteed) letters, but they have always received them and they have always been in their computer ! Call and verify, then fax if you wish a few days before you go.
