Room Requests in Kidani?

I have a Sav view this coming June. Should I request a certain area? I want to be close to the lobby/pool and have a lower room. Can I request that? or should I just stick with certain area?

iF THAT IS WHERE YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE IN RELATION TO THE REST OF THE RESORT, THEN i WOULD MAKE THAT REQUEST. mY ONLY REQUEST WAS TO BE NEAR THE LOBBY. i DIDN'T WANT TO BE ALL THE WAY AT THE END OF THE HALLWAY.

I was also wondering about requests. I was kind of taken aback when I was asked about requests...I had no idea what to ask for. My biggest thing is being not to far to an elevator to the parking area, I guess. Aren't there several areas like that, though?

i TECHNICALLY HAVE THE SAME QUESTION AS THE OP, WE WILL BE STAYING IN A STUDIO AT KIDANI FOR 5 NIGHTS IN DECEMBER AND THEN 2 NIGHTS IN A 1BR (lollllll oups capslock haha) I have standard room reservation for both of them....

I was wondering about any request suggestions and or what to ask specifically for: could we have an aniversary celebration as a request? Also, from the setup at kidani, could we request a pool view(hoping for a view other than a parking lot and proximity to lobby)?

I just booked at the Service Rep suggested the view of the entrance to the resort. Says it is the best Standard view there is. On the "pool view" request you supposedly can not actually see the pools.

If you get the entrance view you are also right next to the elevator.

Is there a stairwell in the middle of the trails leading down and outside? If there is and it is anything like at the Boardwalk, you could cut off a bit of walking exiting the resort (not returning as they'd be locked from the outside) & could come in handy for heading out to the bus stops, walking over to Jambo when the walkway is opened or even down to the garage.

What 's the best way out to the pool? I read one person's review that everyone has to walk through the lobby to get there, which doesn't sound right to me - I'm certain Disney doesn't want wet suits traipsing back and forth out there. So, I'm thinking there must be an entrance/exit on that end too.
