Room requests for cabins?

I was over on the tips board and heard about people faxing requests for specific hotel rooms a few days before arrival to a room controller. What about cabin/loop requests for the FW cabins? Is there a similar process for those and how and when do you ask?

We faxed a room request for a FW cabin about 3 days before we arrived. We got lucky and all 3 of our request were honored. The fax # for FW is 407-824-3508.

My family will be staying in a Fort Wilderness cabin in June for 8 days. Is there a particular loop you would recommend? I've never visited the campground and have no idea where they are located in relation to the camper sites.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

We stayed in a FW cabin at the end of Feb. and stayed in the 2600 loop. It was very close to bus stop and also the swimming pool.
