Room requests for a variety of specific rooms or buildings.

Has anyone here been successful (gotten one of them) when they listed a variety of rooms for their room requests? Say, "upper floor room ending in -**, -@@, -%%, or -$$". At BCV, with 4/5 floors, it's about 14 rooms. And at DVCs with multiple buildings (thinking of OKW here), what about a choice of 5 or so buildings? Although I've never done this before, thinking of trying it on my next stay.

I requested a room ending in one of two numbers at bcv. I did not get what i wanted.

Same here, I have requested rooms ending in XX, YY and ZZ and did not get any. I am more successful when specifying view categories or to be near a certain location.

I did this at Poly and got it a few weeks ago. Requested 3rd floor, in a certain building, and a range of about 5 room numbers. I didn’t expect to get it but we did! Never hurts to ask!

I requested a specific room or one like it at AKV-K the time that Dorian hit. We got the exact room we requested (room closest to the lobby but right on the small savana)

I will say I have requested the same way other times and just got the generalized request but not the specific room. I always process room requests through Touringplans as well (but will typically slightly alter the message).

I’ve never requested room numbers, just general requests-like near the elevator. This past August/September, i requested a building with an elevator at OKW for medical reasons for one of my group. We did not get this; our GV was in building 49. I was disappointed with the lack of compassion from the front desk.

At BWV, I give them a list of room numbers - x029 and x031, on floors 5, 4,3. I’ve been successful 4 of 5 times.
