Three days til my first visit at WL! We have two Ctyd view rooms and I have already requested connecting through CRO. I would really like to request a view of the Silver Springs pool and high floor, but is it too late to call CRO? Would the info get to the room assigner? What is the success rate if I call the hotel directly?

At this point you could fax your request to WL. Keep in mind though, the more requests you make the less likely you are to get them. If connecting is most important, I think I would just leave it at that, if being on a high floor or changing your view is more important, then go for it.

At this point the resort has the reservation. Keep in mind when you call you are talking with a call center.

I don't think you have any better luck calling than having the requests in the reservation.

1) You have only three days left.
2) The ressie has already been downloaded to WL.
3) In most cases, your room(s) have already been assigned.

Wilderness Lodge is one of the resorts that no longer accepts faxed requests, due to the volume of faxes they were getting. All requests should be noted when the ressie is made - but be sure to ask for what you want at checkin. At every WDW resort we've stayed at we've found the front desk CMs to be more than willing to hunt down the exact room we want. Well, except Coronado Springs! But we won't go into that.
