Room Requests at BLT

I have a 1BR Lake View reserved for October at BLT. The last time I had a lake view studio there - I was basically looking at the back corner of the Contemporary. I want to think I was the first room past the elevators on the side nearest the Contemporary on like the 2nd or 3rd floor. I liked being near an elevator - but the view wasn't much. Just wondering, for those who have had LV 1BR before, what would be your choice of a request.

The inside of the "C" isn't much of a lake view either IMO. Your balcony is either across from other rooms or looking out beyond the pool to the lake.

Personally, we liked our room with the view you described. Since view selection is so subjective, I'd utilize the great tool the linked thread provides.

Are some 1BR smaller than others? It seems like I remember when the resort first opened hearing that odds were much smaller than even numbered rooms- or vice versa?

They're the same size, but they're laid out differently.

You notice the difference in the kitchen of the 1 & 2BRs as the even number rooms have chairs at the kitchen island and the odd number rooms do not, but have a separate laundry room. The rooms are slight pie shaped in except on the end because of the curve so some rooms are wider for the even number rooms and narrow for the odd number rooms while the others are just the opposite. And it really is just a small difference anyway. In the studios I never noticed a difference at all.
