I'm sure there are no guarantees, but can you request a dedicated 2BR at SSR or any of the other resorts that have dedicated room? Our party has older adults and another with back issues. The pull out sofa is not ideal.

Yes, if you book a dedicated 2 BR you will get 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom. That is a guaranteed reservation, the location request are just that, a request, not guaranteed. Note, BWV and AK-J do NOT have dedicated 2BR units only lock-offs units.

What Bill said! When you reserve your room if it says lock off then one of them will be either a pull out couch or a Murphy bed. If it doesn’t say lock off then it is dedicated and both are queens. The Murphy beds at Riviera and the newly remodeled SSR rooms though are a lot more comfy than a pull out couch (but not all the SSR rooms are remodeled yet).
