Room request VGF?

first time in a 1 bedroom standard view at grand Floridian. What area should I request to avoid parking lot views? Any chance of seeing te water or pool??

Ask for a view of the GF hotel and depending on your room you'll see parts of the pool and the beach.

We requested an upper floor with a resort view and I believe we were on the 5th floor and looked out over the pool and resort.

Have you had the parking lot view? I requested an upper floor to avoid the roof of the porte cochère. I didn't want to give too many request and have to wait longer for a room. The view was of the parking lot, 4th floor, but I liked it because we could watch the monorail, saw the extra wedding building, whatever it is, and the trees in the distance and palm trees. It really was a pleasant view, nothing like the parking lot view at BLT. Most likely, the other side would be better, but this one was good too. It was nice and quiet.

There aren't a whole lot of parking lof views from the VGF unless you are at the front of the building. We were in 1403 and had a great view of the main building, pool, and monorail. The lower room numbers are towards the back of the building.
