Room request on rented points, is online check in good enough?

For my honeymoon we're staying at a lagoon view studio at the Poly. I want an upper floor (To have a view of MK and not a bungalow) and that's one of the options online check in. Should I just do that or should I send in a request to the member to add upper floor?

The other thing is if I do send it in through the member should I mention it's my honeymoon? I don't expect any pixie dust except maybe having our happily ever after buttons in the room.

I don't think that a request sent thru online check in has any greater or lesser chance of being fulfilled compared to a request registered thru MS. However, MS can add requests and note celebrations on the reservations that cannot be done online. If you're hoping to have your honeymoon acknowledged at check in, you should contact the DVC owner to ask to have it noted.

You probably won't get the buttons in the room when you first arrive. But they might be delivered after you have already checked in. Or just ask for them when you check in.
