We are looking at booking a 2BR Lake View at BLT and I was wondering what room requests should we make.

Thanks.

Hi....
We had a 2 bedroom dedicated lake view two years ago. I only requested a high floor. We were given 9th floor I believe the number ends in 02 or 04. It was at the north end at the very end of the hallway and not only did we have a beautiful lake view, we had a view of Space mountain from our balcony and we could see Wishes and the Castle. We could sit on our living room sofa and watch the fireworks. To see tHe Castle we had to look to the left on the master balcony.

The other thing that was nice was we were high enough up that when you walk in the room it looked like we were floating on the lake thru the huge pix window in the LR.

Now we were the furthest from the bridge to the CR, but the north elevator was not too far away. Hint, if you are on the north end take that elevator to the floor with the bridge (I believe it's the 5th flr) and then walk down to the bridge. The south elevator gets very crowded since it is right there when you come across the bridge from the CR.

I recommend a high floor for a great view. We had a 2br on the top floor literally 100 ft from the TOWL. It was great for me to grab a beer after putting the kids to bed. On our next trip coming up I requested an even numbered room on the NORTH side. If it is granted, we will have a view of the park from the balcony. Hope it comes through because it would be cool to put the kids to bed after seeing the fireworks from our balcony. I think the only other think I would care about is being on the same floor as the skywalk to CR. That way you don't have to wait for the elevator.

We make no requests and get great villas.

Is there anything to specifically avoid, for example, I think the first floor opens directly to the walking paths, correct? Any "bad" lake views that aren't really scenic? Thanks.

We have a lv studio. All I have requested is a high floor. Anything else? 35 days until 1 night AoA, 4 nights SSR and 5 nights BLT!!!!!!

The first floor is standard view- I think the lowest lake views are not until floor 3.

We have LV studio reserved for 2 weeks in June...our very first trip "home" as new DVC members! :cool1: Can we call to make a room request, or does that need to be faxed in? I realize its JUST a request and not guaranteed, but it can't hurt to go ahead and ask. :flower3:

All requests just need to be added to your reservation. They accept no faxes or calls at the resort for requests.
