Room request for AKL - Kidani 1BR (standard view)

We are staying at AKL - Kidani for the first time. We will have a 1BR - standard view (no savanna view available for our stay).

Are there any special requests that might be good? We are a family of 5: me, DH, DD(11), DD(11), DS(3). We will have a stroller for our younger son.

I know the view won't really be an issue since we know it's not savanna, but are some locations within Kidani better than others? Any specific recommendations?

We like to request to be near the Rafiki elevator. It is the closest elevator to the pool (about 20 steps from exiting the elevator) and if you get a pool view by the Rafiki elevator, some of those rooms include a partial savannah view as well. It is also relatively close to the main lobby for access to the beverage station in Johari treasures.
