room request ? for a 7.5 month pg woman @ CBR

Arriving at CBR next wed Sept 21, big family gathering. I will be 7.5 months pregnant and plan on spending a lot time at the resort pools while DH and the family take dd to the parks. We have 3 standard rooms booked and through my research Aruba and Jamica are the buildings to go with to be close to the main pool and OPR w/o having to pay for the preferred location buidings. Now when I call to add the requests to the ressie should I ask for Aruba/Jamaica or do I say I'd like a room as close to OPR due to the fact that I am pg? I wonder if I specify Aruba/Jamaica then I'm closing the door on being upgraded to a preferred building. Also since there are no elevators, I figured a 1st floor room would be best. Do you agree or are there not that many steps to really make a difference? I know these are all requests and can not be guaranteed, just wanted your expert advice before I call in the request to CRO.

If it were me, I'd request a "ground-floor room, as close to OPR as possible", noting that you are 7 1/2 months pregnant. It's harder to get an upgrade because you have 3 rooms booked, but it can happen. If they have the availability I'm sure they'll try their best. I hope you have a great time!

I mentioned my pregnancy for our trip next week and paid for the upgrade.

I would have no problem paying for an upgrade if it were just us but I have to go along for the ride w/ the rest of the gang. We really want all the rooms together so it isn't fair to expect everybody to pay the extra per night
