Room Request / Connected Rooms

If I booked two rooms at the same time do I still need to call / fax in a room request to get them near each other?

If yes, when is the best time to make the request? We leave in 9 days.

You should be fine, but it wouldn't hurt to call and verify. Last October, we had 6 adults going, so we booked 2 rooms and they were connected.

I would call and put in the request now so they have it on record before you get there. If the request is in the computer they will have that info in advance when assigning rooms. We booked our two rooms for Aug. back in Oct and we asked for connecting rooms then and we were given guaranteed connecting rooms because of the classification of room we booked through AAA. I was told at the time that a standard view would not guarantee connecting rooms. We booked garden view rooms with an AAA discount and it is a guarantee, as I was told. We have done it this way for years now and have always had connecting rooms.

We requested and got connecting rooms during President's week. I think if you choose both rooms to be 2 queens, your chances are better. I faxed in about 6 days before.
