Hi.

In the past, I have "faxed/sent in" my room request from TouringPlans. However, my
subscription is up and I'm not sure I am renewing.

Is there another way for us to request a certain room/location? I leave on September 7.

Thank you.

Thank you.
Is there a preferred way that most do that works somewhat well?
I appreciate your letting me know.

Thanks.

Just give them a call or chat with them. Also, since your reservation is now in the system, the standard Disney Reservation Agents at the regular Disney World number can also do it. Just talk to someone and they will either do it, or transfer you to someone who can.

In my experience, BW does a poor job of meeting room requests, no matter how they are submitted. You may have better luck than we've had, but keep your expectations reasonable.

Thank you all. Yes, my expectations are usually kept at a minimum with room requests but may as well try.
Thank you all.

I did the Touring Plans fax last year and got the room on the floor below the one I requested.

And they've been the best at meeting my requests of all resorts! Now, getting into the room has been a whole other adventure........ But I know that many comment about not getting requests at BWV.

I have tried the Touring Plans fax at Poly and VGF and mostly had success but not enough for me to think that it's more successful than a request thru MS.

And we've never had an issue getting into the room - we've always been in long before dinner - I think the latest has been 3pm.

To clarify - I meant literally getting into the room as in getting the door to open! I'm happy that I'm not too concerned about walking but my 11:30 PM arrival where the door lock battery was dead was a bit annoying. All the others have been MB's not working for some reason or another. Seems like there's a price to pay for getting your room requests!

Thank you all. I'm currently on hold (43 minutes so far and expected wait time is over an hour???) so I can put in my request.
I went on the MDE and although it shows two options of Requests, I wasn't able to use the pull down menu....wasn't working.
I then went to DVC and only saw the option to email MS, which I did with my ressie number but it says it takes up to five days to respond?
It's never easy. Am I missing something?!? Thank you.

A request can be done via chat too but reports are the waits are long for it too. Unfortunately with the DHS Member Magic registration today it's just a bad day to contact MS.

Don't use the MDE request section - it's worthless. And don't even click on it after you speak to someone because reports are that it can override what MS puts in.

Newbie question. Is MS just the DVC phone contact?

Thank you very much. I stayed on hold and put in my requests. RKS03, I called DVC MS not the Disney line.
