anyone have any suggestions best location to be at.

2 yrs ago we were overlooking pool by clubhouse. We liked it there.

considering making that request again. Can you see illuminations from any room in preferred view?

The preferred view villas with Illuminations viewing are the boardwalk view villas and with so little time before your trip, I am sure those are long gone, especially with the new guaranteed boardwalk view booking policy.
After the boardwalk view villas are next favorite preferred view villas are the quiet pool views.
