Where should one request a room, to be near a designated smoking area? Kidani and Jambo. Thank you.

Where should one request a room, to be near a designated smoking area? Kidani and Jambo. Thank you.

Both designated smoking areas are fairly near the bus stops. At Jambo, the
request would be room close to lobby but be aware if you have savanna view the rooms close to lobby do not have views as good as others. At Kidani, request either close to the Timon elevator or close to community hall. Both those put you near the exit door that is right near the smoking area.

Also....
Kidani has a smoking area outside the pool entrance from the parking garage which is closest to Pumba section.
Jambo has a smoking area by the pool in front of the exercise room I find it funny.... I do not know what area this would be closest to but I know it would be on elevators to the left side of the lobby... Jambo has elevators in the room hallways as well as one bank off the lobby.
Be aware no matter where you are at AKL it will be a walk....

We were in a 1 BR standard view for Easter and I made that my only request - near a smoking area. Then I mentioned it at check in as well. We got a great room (in the morning no less) that was on the front of the resort, just to the left of the lobby roof. So we were in between the lobby and the bus stop. There is a smoking area in the garage w/benches right underneath that, close to the bus stop, but down in the garage and close to the elevator.

(I don't know if this DSA is marked on the map or not because it doesn't sound like the same one being discussed above - I know where the one near the pool/garage is at Kidani. This is not that.)
