Room Recommendations for Grand Californian?

Hi all -

We're visiting DL for the first time in June (yay!) and we're staying at the GC. Does anyone who has stayed there have any recommendations as to room requests? We've booked the "theme park view," but other than that, is there anything you can recommend? Any experiences, both positive and negative, would be appreciated.

We just stayed the week of Easter. We requested a fridge and bunkbeds and got both. Also, we were upgraded to a theme park view w/o cost and w/o asking. We had a view of the pool and the ferris wheel. Beautiful at night!

Make sure you call the front desk before you leave your room at night and request turn down service. We missed 2 of the 4 nights. The last 2 nights I would call and tell them we were leaving the room from 6-9pm. The other 2 nights we missed because they came late and the kids were already asleep.

The hotel is great and we thought well worth the $! We would stay again.
