Room Recomendations at WL and AKL

I'm looking for some room recommendations for AKL and WL for my DH's co worker and his family with a 16 month old and a 6 year old. Please state why you prefer that room. Proximity to pool? Bus stops etc?

I only know about AKL. If they have a savannah view room, I would recommend Zebra Trail, about half way down the hall. It is close to the elevator to Mara, the pool, arcade and laundry. also, it isn't too bad a walk from the lobby. They can also see alot of animals outside their room. We were on the third floor which we liked.

Just bumping this up! Any thoughts on WL room requests?

As for the WL...I've never been disappointed in a room there. I've been in woods, courtyard and honeymoon/concierge. They are all great and close to the pool, and bus as it's one big hotel/lodge. My only suggestion is sometimes the lower level rooms might be too noisy. I never stayed in a first floor, but I don't think I'd like it.

In my opinion, you can't go wrong at the WL no matter what!!
