Going to pop century on feb 7th for the first time .

Do we need to call prior arrival to request room preferences (which building, floor, etc) or do they do that upon arrival at the resort when we check-in ?

Sorry for my poor english

Pierre,
you can call your preferences in ahead of time if you want...just remember: in disneys' eyes they are just request and there are no guarantees you have your request granted....I think that those kind of things are decided when people check in for the most part...It has been our experience that the earlier in the day you check in, the better your chances of getting requests filled...

Hi Pierre...this is so weird...I just posted a request for the fax number for the room controller at Pop Century. On our last trips, we have faxed the room controller of the resort, a few days before arriving, with any special requests (ie.building, floor). We've always got our requests. But I would suggest not to make too many requests, just ones that are the most important to you. So check out my post on this board and hopefully we'll get the proper fax number.

Hey, Pierre!!!

Check out the allearsnet.com website, click on "Accomodations" and then look at the listing on the left-hand side of the screen, there is a "Faxing Room Preferences" header. This is a great tutorial on faxing your requests, with great advice.

There have been many posts lately from people who either work at WDW or have friends who work there who are stating that they receive so many faxes they just throw them away. My personal experience has been that I have always gotten most of my requests met when faxing preferences, so somebody must have read them!!:teeth:

You can also tell the CRO rep. when you make your res.

Have a great trip, and I only wish my French was anywhere near as good as your English!!!:wave2:
