Room Only - Switching to Package?

I currently have two rooms booked at PC for the beginning of January, we check in on the 2nd. How late can I add tickets and the dining plan prior to check in? Thanks.

You have to switch them to package deals if not already. I was going to do this but CM said that I would have to cancel room only and book package in order to book dining. I was told if within 45 days must pay in full fo whole package. I was told I could add dining to my package up to 48 hours before arrival, but am unsure if I would want to wait till that close. I thought if I had a room only I could pay in full and just switch over to package and apply money, but I was told not the case I would have to cancel receive a refund and rebook, but CM told me that refunds may not be done in a very timely manner. I am no expert but just relating my own experience hope this helped. I was told room only and package reservations are booked in two totally different systems.

Just wanted to let you know that room only and packages come from different inventory. If you wait too late, there may not be availability for packages. It really depends on what time of year you travel and the availability at your hotel.

If you switch to the package of room & tickets now, you can then add the dining up to 5 days before arrival.

They will not let you switch your deposit for room only to package. They refund your room-only deposit and all your money you paid already. If you want the package, you need to make the $200 deposit, and if it is 45 days out, it needs to be paid in full.

Just tried to do this for Thanksgiving. When you cancel your room only reservation, you will lose that room you booked and start all over from scratch. And a package for that type room may not be available anyway. I found this out when I went to do the same thing, but luckily a very competent CM was able to work some "magic" and I got to keep the same room (a Jr. Deluxe at WL.) No easy task for a busy period. You may not run into the same problem early in January, but I would definitely make any changes sooner rather than later.
