Room only reservation

I want to book a room only reservation but I don’t want to pay in full upon booking. Instead I’d like to make a deposit and pay my balance upon check out using Disney gift cards. What are my options?

You have to pay beforehand or at check-in. You can use Disney gift cards to pay your balance.

Upon making the reservation, you should only have to pay one night's deposit.

I always only book room only reservations. I sometimes use my credit card and sometimes use a disney gift card, I always pay just first night when I book and then call back and make payments with additional Disney gift cards.

As long as you are booking more than one night what you want to do is the way it works. If you are booking 1 night then you don't have the option. You must pay the 1 night in full at the time of booking

A gift card can be used for the deposit . I usually pay for my entire reservation (deposit included) with gift cards as I buy them at Target to get the 5% discount.

True. They can't pay the balance of the room cost at check out. The room will have to be paid in full at check in
