Room Only Reservation

I know this answer is somewhere out there but I couldn't find it. How is the room only reservation billed? I'm pretty sure it's one nights deposit paid immediately and the rest is due 30 days in advance? Correct me if I'm wrong.

We have always paid the one night plus tax deposit and balance payable at check-in

Your credit card on file might get billed the balance the early morning on the day of c heck in. Especially if you did the on line check in.
