You can't make it a room only, with room only cancelation terms. The reason being, that would require canceling the package (and forfeiting the deposit) and rebooking room only.I have an Room booked w APH discount and added the Disney Dining Plan. I’m already wishing my 30 day window of our trip. Can I modify it back to an APH Room Only? What fees would I have to pay?
However, you MIGHT be able to modify your package to be a ticketless room only PACKAGE. This creature does exist, and is sold by the Walt Disney Travel Co. (which is why you may be able to do it). This would have package TandC, and package cancelation policies. Whether the CM will/knows how to do this or not, you would have to call and ask. If they did this, you would keep the same reservation number.
This shouldn't require canceling and rebooking.
But, if you are buying tickets (as opposed to annual passes), getting date based tickets makes getting the tickets separately result in less flexibility than a package. We are the same. Also, really like the flexibility of being able to cancel or change up tp 5 days prior to arrival without penalty. and we often have Annual Passes.
