Room only discounts for Fall?

Soooo...I wonder if we'll hear anything about October/November/December discounts this week! Since the current room only discount expires today, something should be coming soon, right? I really hope so, I'm not sure I can wait much longer!!!

Well no luck today, I just hung up with a CM who said the room only discounts run to Sept 29 and nothing past that

Made a reservation for mid-October at POP and used AAA discount. FWIW during conversation with CM she said "We're hoping to have some passholder and Florida resident rates soon". She offered that herself I didn't ask about those rates.

Someone else just reported the same thing. This CM (a guy) said they would be out by the end of the month.

Ughhh...well I've waited this long, I guess a few more weeks won't hurt! I just wish they'd hurry up! I also wish the room discount would be 40% off deluxes, like it used to be, but that doesn't seem to happen anymore! Honestly, I'll be happy with 30%! Just hurry!

Hey, I remember back in Jan 2005 when I got 49% off at AKL and WL with an AP discount. The discount alone, more than paid for the AP, so it was like getting a discount, plus getting my park ticket for free. I was then able to get POP for like $49.00 a night in May and Sept of that year and then again for $49.00 a night in Jan 2006, plus got POFQ for like $79.00 a night in Dec of that same year. I got five trips out of that AP and got fantastic discounts each trip. Discounts for the first trip alone were more than the AP cost back then. Unfortunately those discounts seem to be long gone and the price of an AP has gone way up.

A lot if CMs are saying end of the month for AP. Some are saying mid-Sept. I'd be surprised if we see any this week but I'm hoping for next week.

I feel your pain.

An added frusturation for me is that things will be much busier at work for me after Labor Day than they are right now (so it would be nice to book the discounts now, when things are relatively slower).

That's what happened to a lot of people waiting for GP discounts last Oct. no discounts at all. Oct is obviously not the low season it used to be. We're going in Dec this year but next year we'll be back to Oct. I'm hoping for a BB because I won't be counting on any more RO discounts for that month.
