Well after watching the site for a long time and waiting to book a room based on the hopeful coming of a discount next week, I got a PIN attached to an old email account that I have not logged in, or done any checking, fake reservation, nothing, so not real sure what the theory is on those things, and i think this is the first one i have ever gotten. We are going in october. Well it was the 25,35, etc that others have gotten in the last few days. I called to make a reservation and they did not see the code on their end. Also said that since I got it by email, I actually should get a hard copy in the mail too, but I have not seen that one. Anyway, we are booking 2 rooms for us and friends traveling with us. I did not have their address, so they would not let me book their room even though i was paying for all of it, which is a whole other issue. Well i had to hang up and call them back.
2nd phone call, got a very helpful CM that proceeded to use my pin, again, not in the system, but it took it when i told them the numbers, to book our room. She then said that the other room would be the full rate. I asked why I could not use the PIN to book the other room especially since I was paying for it, and she went to check. Said I could use the PIN for the other room as long was we were traveling together, which we are. I assume that there were limited numbers of them or is booking very quickly, because there were no more preferred at the values, which was fine for us, we got the standard because it is a pre and post cruise trip. Anyway, the PIN actually took 30% off the room, so not real sure what the deal is.
In some of the waiting we talked about going to the parks and I mentioned that we were going to the
MNSSHP and were not sure which of the nights we wanted so I would hold off on those tickets. She told me that I probably needed to go ahead and get them if we were going the week of halloween becuase they are selling extremely well. Said that they were not sold out yet, but seemed to be selling more of them than in the past, for what that is worth. Between 2 of our reservations there was about 1400 number sequence and I aked if they were somewhat random or if they were acutally produced in sequence and she said they were sequential, so in theory, there were 1400 new reservation in the 5-10 minutes it took to get from one reservation to the other with mostly the same information. Not sure if that is 100% accurate, but if they are indeed sequential number for number, that is nuts to me. Anyway, thought I would share the days experience.
