Room-only discount check-in question

If our vacation is 10/29-11/12, and the room only discount goes through 11/5, is it like free-dining where if you check in you get the discount the whole stay, or is it calculated by night and from 11/6 on we pay full-rates? What if our vacation is 11/5-11/12?

What are the chances there are zero discounts at all from 11/6-11/12, versus Disney releasing something covering those dates later on in the year?

No with a room only reservation you will only get the advertised nights with the discount and pay rack rate for the rest. I believe the dates you are asking about include the day of the half marathon, NJ teachers convention (when all NJ students have a long weekend/fall break), veteran's day (long weekend for others), and the last week of Food and Wine festival. This will most likely be a busy week for Disney with little need to discount rooms. Obviously if not enough rooms sell they may add a promotion but I wouldn't count on it.

No, room only discounts only include the nights that are part of the offer. November is becoming VERY popular. Availability for some resorts is very limited even this far out because of the marathon, food and wine, and the holiday offerings. Also this is a time period were airfare is more reasonable.

Remember, this doesn't mean huge crowds at the parks, just that those that are going are usually staying on property.
