Room only cancellation policy?

I have a room only reservation for late March but am hoping that my waitlist comes through for DVC. How late can I cancel a room only reservation without being charged a penalty?

CANCELLATION POLICY: In order to receive a refund of your deposit, notification of cancellation must be received at least 5 days prior to your arrival date.
