room only before a package

Hi,
I booked a one night room only reservation for the night before a package. Does anyone have any idea how this will work? will I have to check out and check in the next morning? will I be able to keep my room (I booked the same category) I know the tickets and dinning plan won't be valid to the 1st day of the package, but I'm not worried about that as we are getting in late that 1st night

You should have it noted on your reservation that you will be rechecking in the next day for a package. The hotel did this for me last time, I did not have to get reassigned a room! I just went down first thing in the morning and checked out and in.

one more question, am I going to needs everyone's key? or will they be reassigning me keys with tickets? (I will be going down to check out/in while my wife is getting the kids ready)

I didn't turn in any keys. They reissued key cards with all of the package and dining info programmed into it! As a matter of fact, I still have all of my keycards floating around.
