If I find cheaper admission tickets elsewhere, can I buy room only + dining plan? The system won't let me do that, says I need to be MYW package. So what if I book room only first, then add my tickets to MDE and then can I add the dining plan?

Thanks.

You'll have to call them to request a "ticketless" package. If you add anything to a room only at any point it then becomes a package and will have to be rebooked as such.

The rules apply for the package though, like having to have the package paid for at the 45 day prior mark.

We've done this with no issue at all, I just wish they'd add the option online as well.

No such thing as room only plus dining, but you can book a ticketless package. Lately they've been allowing anybody to do this - but you have to call, online booking not available for this option unless you are a passholder booking through the passholder site.

The thing to remember is that your reservation is still a package and follows package rules, which are different from room only rules, for deposits, changes and cancellations.
