Room not ready: groceries?

Hey all! First trip "home" is in March! I'm a little nervous; after reading the posts re: CM's resentment of DVC-ers, I hope I'm not pelted with tomatoes and heckled!

Anyhow, if your room isn't ready when you arrive and you've made a grocery stop with perishable items (milk, yogurt, etc....) what do they do for you???

All the resorts have a refrigerator in their bell services area, so they'll keep them there. Just make sure to identify the items to your bellman and tell them they need to be refrigerated.

And I hope you're not seriously concerned about the CM's. They've been nothing but wonderful to us in all our DVC stays.

We had our groceries delivered by Garden Grocer. OKW stored them until the room was ready and we had returned from DTD. They then had bell services deliver them to us..smjj

We had to store some perishables at BWV during our last stay and it was no problem at all. The CMs at BWV were wonderful!

We also stayed at BW last year and they held our groceries for us. Our room was ready when we checked in, but we had ressies at Chef Mickey's, so we couldn't wait for our delivery. So, the grocery place just left them at Bell Services and when we got back, we called and they were brought right up. And the Cast Members were all very nice!
