We're staying in Category 9 (Deck 2) on our August 16th Western cruise. Right now our room is #2008 - in the front of the ship. What are personal preferences on room location? Front, mid, rear? Anybody with experience on Deck 2 front location? Was noise from above lounges a concern? Thanks for your input!

Check out Dave's dcltribute site:

He lists a set of cabins that past cruisers have complained about. It looks like you're safe.

As for location, what you want to consider are conveniences(proximity to your interests & elevators) and ship motion (if you're prone to sea sickness). For minimum movement, you'd want to be as near the center of gravity of the ship as possible. It's typically around low decks (you're good), inside cabins, and amid ship.

Hi DisneyDadInFl!

We are on the same cruise! And we are in cabin #8002. Looking forward to meeting you onboard the Magic.
