On our upcoming trip to WDW my 11 year old DD is being allowed to take a friend with her.

In order to avoid having to keep up with the friends cash throughout the trip (for souveniers) can we set up an 11 year old have the ability to charge on their Key to the Kingdom?

Of course you can put their money on their room key card, but please understand that this is the same key that your credit card is on. Someone will still have to keep track of who charged what as they are all together on the same account. Room key charges are either "all or nothing". You can't program them to do a certain amount. (except of course, to their limit!)

Happy planning!

You could get a daily print out from the Front Desk of your resort if you want to see what they were charging.

For your info, Disney puts a spending limit on all accounts depending on where you are staying: $500 at Values, $1000 at Moderates, and $1500 at Deluxes. If you reach your limit, you can always go to guest services and have then increase it. They go ahead and charge your credit card for your existing charges and you start over fresh.
