Room Key and Tickets

I know when we previously went to Disney World, our room key had our meal plan as well as our park tickets on the same key. This is our first time renting points. Can we get this done even though we're renting points. I'm guessing the meal plan will be on the key, but I've been told we have to order our own theme park tickets as DVC will only order those for owners. Can we take the cardboard ticket to concierge and have them put it onto the room key? Any help is appreciated.

Yes, take the tickets to the conceirge desk in the lobby and they can transfer the ticket to your room key. The ticket must be new and unused in order to transfer it.
