Can someone give me a good room location to view Disney fireworks? I'm looking at sattelite images at windowslive.com and was wondering if I should request the (taller) tower in the back on the north side....I guess this wing is also good for parking.

Any recommendations?

I was there in April, the week after Easter. I was on the 9th floor, with a room facing the pool & Nick hotel. I actually didn't notice the fireworks, but then again I was out most nights at the time of the fireworks. I'd bet they aren't that visible no matter which floor you are on.

Imho, the parking lot is inconvenient no matter where your room is. With the construction going on (they are building a new ballroom for the conference center), you pretty much have to walk 2 blocks through the conference center or take the parking shuttle to the garage. The shuttle runs pretty often. If I hadn't been on a business per diem, I'd probably have gone with the valet parking. It's not that much more outrageous than the garage.

According to other posts, they do have views of the fireworks. It must have been from the higher floors though.

Epcot is only around 5 to 7 miles (from the World showcase) to MWC - so you show get a good viewing of those fireworks.

but I can't help either.... :happytv:

We asked the desk clerk about seeing fireworks - We checked in early and told her we would wait if she could get us on the side facing disney on a high floor - I think we were on the 9th floor
The Epcot fireworks could be seen and so could Magic Kingdom but you have to understand they are pretty far away but you can watch them. Without the music and the lasers ,etc....you miss too much. But I have been to the fireworks there so many times, well, I digress.
AT midnight, Pleasure Island had fireworks. They were close and quite nice- they woke me up from a sound sleep - I went out in my pajamas!

We went on July 4th and I didn't want to fight the crowds -so I didn't expect to have a front row seat.
