What discounts on rooms does Universal typically offer???? Thanks for any info

I am also looking for a discounted room for 2 nights in April and all that I can seem to get is rack rate...$304 PBH. I guess I refuse to pay more than a room at Disney's Beach Club Resort. Not even a AAA discount. Any hints, tips, etc? Thanks

I booked about 2 months ago under AAA but the agent told me the AAA was nearly identical to the STay more play more or whatever that promotion was called.If I stayed 3 nights the AAA rate matched that rate, however I was only staying 2 nights and AAA was better....The stay more rate is available now but the savings matches AAA at 3 nights...

There are Annual Pass Holder's Discounts and AAA. (which you need to call to get)

April at PBH has had some weird swings on the internet bookings. I have been looking for months for a stay more rate and it has NEVER been there and we are staying 4 nights....specifically 4/21-4/25. Sometimes, there are no rooms available. sometimes no standard rooms. Luckily, when I called and booked the room a few months ago, AAA rate was available although at that time, there were no standard rooms and I had to book a deluxe. Several weeks later, standard became available again and I called and downgraded while still keeping the AAA rate.

I would keep calling the reservation line in hopes that a AAA rate will become available if someone with it cancels.

They usually offer annual passholder rates, AAA discount, and stay more save more rates--meaning the more nights you book the bigger the discount. Availability of these discounts are limited per category based on occupancy levels. They also offer various little promo deals which usually aren't a good buy...like breakfast included or whatever.
