Room Discount plus free dining on bounceback?

I've tried reading all of the threads but don't see an answer - some hinted that OKW and SSR may have a 30% discount plus free dining - any confirmation of this? It's driving me crazy trying to figure it out, and with a toddler by 9/09, a 1 bedroom would be nice.

Don't know if this will help but I am in the UK and Disney UK are offering 44% off OKW or SSR from 2nd August to 2nd October and on top of that great deal we get free dining and a 14 day pass for the price of 7. So if they are offering it to us I am pretty sure there will be good deals for you guys too. I have booked 14 nights at SSR from 10th August. We will be there for 3 weeks in December (offsite then FW) aswell but these prices are just too good too pass up. I absolutely love SSR, its my favourite resort.

I have asked as well about this rate/offer and would still like to know hopefully before we go in a month. Thanks for any info on the rate/dates with the discounted rooms as well as Free Dining.

We checked into it when we were booking our bounceback and they said there was no availablitiy for our dates. (Aug 23-Aug30)

Was there no availability at all or just for your hotel choice? I think sometimes more availablity comes up as time goes by so all may have a chance especially on an extended offer like this (able to book until Oct 24th) Thanks.

We originally booked Contemporary on 8/24 at 7 a.m. When we arrived home I called to inquire about OKW. OKW was not available for our dates. We changed to Poly. We were just interested in what the cost for OKW would be because the cm confirmed that OKW had the 30% with free dining.

I hope this is the case or I am going to be out of luck trying to get a bounceback when we check in Oct. 17.
Oh well. I guess if there is no availability I can just use the $200 I have set aside for the deposit on more food and wine!

Maybe they release a few rooms each day to be somewhat fair. If everyone booked up all WDW had to offer in the first week or so they couldn't have it last so long (Oct 24) and then be able to offer in the spring again.

I called about the OKW and SSR rooms and the problem with that is the rooms will not be released until later, that is what the CM told me. As long as you book a room on the BB you can upgrade at any time later. You can keep checking. The CM checked a number of dates and said that there will be a 30% off but did not say if that was only for a studio or larger. It may only apply to studios. I believe the going price is something like 295 a night for a studio so it would be 30% off of that rate. The rooms aren't released to vacation club members more than 11 months in advance so that may be why there are none available at this time. I am sure someone will start a thread if they are able to book these rooms and when.

By chance, did you find out how many persons per room you can book when they become available? They might be worth it since the SSR and OKW don't charge for the extra adults. Thanks!

The studios and one br villas hold 4 adults. I dont believe they charge for extra adults

So UK has 44% off at SSR and OKW and US has 30% off but only being offered through bounceback. Am I getting that correctly? I know there was mention of a discount at SSR and OKW during the regular free dining period that may hit in April. Does anyone think they will offer 44% off to US at that point with free dining? Wonder if they will offer it for a 2 bedroom, we are a family of 5.

We booked bounceback but villa resorts were not availale. It seems that they become available approx 7 mths prior after all vacation club members book. So we booked BC and will check as it gets closer for the villas. We can always switch resorts as long as we left a deposit before we checked out.

It is such an odd offer to make when you can't even book it or really know if/when it might become available. I can't even imagine why WDW would offer it.
