Room deposit ?'s

I have never stayed at any of the Universal properties and was wondering their depsoit requirements?Is it like Disney"s with 1 nite down that can be payed by check or credit card?Planning on going in June/03 and staying at HRH.Hoping to get the entertainment rate. Thanks.

They charge you for one night's deposit. I've always used a cc so I'm not sure about using a check. There is a 5 day cancellation policy.

I sent them a check and called back to make sure they got it. It was fine, and yes it was for one nights deposit. I did have to cancel, so they sent me a check back. It worked just like Disney.
