Room deals in May/June

We've always enjoyed Orlando in the fall, when discounts were the greatest. Now that I have high schoolers, we can't afford the time out of class and are planning a late May/early June trip next year. Alas, this would appear to be a time when discounts are not readily available.

Cost is a major concern, as well as cleanliness/modern amenities. Have you stayed during this time of year, and gotten a really good deal on a room? How much? With our family size and possible tagalongs, we will be looking at regular rooms and suites as well.
