Room codes?

I hear lots of talk about 40% off codes etc from our US buddies and wondered if UK residents ever got any codes?

Promo postcards with special discount codes are sent out to US residents only.

UK residents can make use of the AAA code if they are an AA member or AP discounts if they are APH. There is also a promotion whereby you can get something crazy (40%?) off your next stay if you book a subsequent trip before you leave your current trip. Not sure if that is still running, but our neighbor got a really great discount on their trip this August. Oh, and obviously you have to already be there for that one!

I have found a few 10% codes off the disney hotels and others on hotelopia if thats any help

You can use AP codes if they are available (they usually are) no matter where you live Obviously you need to have an AP or at least have one or the voucher when you check in.

This always used to give a discount of 30% approx though I am not up to date with recent discounts!

I used a 40% code last year which I had seen discussed on the codes and rates section of these boards. The exact code wasn't given but it pointed you in the right direction to get it. I just called Disney in the US direct, gave them the code and got 40% off Saratoga Springs from 19th to 27th December. $222 a night which was fantastic as I got this rate for the whole period. 19th was the last day of value before the price doubles for the holidays. Am really hoping that I can get this sort of rate again as Saratoga Springs was fantastic but not $400 a night fantastic!

Wow that was a great deal, we've got free DDP for this August's trip but we're looking to go around Christmas so I'll keep an eye out
