Room charging cutoff

I'm sorry, but I've forgotten the amount that triggers the charge to your credit card on your room account. Many thanks in advance.

For us, once we are just shy of $1,500., they stop allowing us to charge. And then that night, they post the charges to our card and reset our bill to zero. More than once we have been refused a restaurant charge as our bill was approaching the $1,500. mark.

Value resorts $500.
Moderates, $1000.
Deluxe/DVC, $1500.

We check our room bill/folio every few days and pay it down with reward and gift cards before we hit the limit.

Your card is a guarantee for $1500. They don't process the charge until you hit the $1500 mark.

That's why we use the CC to turn on room charging but we pay for them with our Disney Rewards or Disney Gift Cards.
