Room Charge at WF

Are you provided with charging privileges as a guest at FW?

I know you leave a credit card with guest services at other WDW resorts. At the values they gave us a $500 limit and $1000 at the moderate. What is the limit at FW?

You do have charging priviledges and I do believe it was $500.

They also have resort delivery for purchases made at DTD and the parks. You pick up your merchandise at Meadows Trading Post.

We just got back from the Fort yesterday and we had a $1500 liimit on charges.

I didn't even realize there was a limit. Gosh, that could have been embarrassing for us. We were never told anything about a limit. Our whole trip was charged to it. How can they put a limit on your charging when it's backed by your credit card?

I just assumed they put a limit on the resort ID in case you lost it, no one could go crazy charging it up.

I'm not positive but I think I've read that when you hit your limit they run your charges through your credit card company and then start all over again.

We also had $1500 limit. I assumed it was because it was 3 of us and each got $500. I think its particularly cool for DS. He can go to the trading post for a drink or snack without us having to give him cash he might lose.

On our Feb trip we also had a 1500.00 limit. If you reach your limit you just go to outpost and sign off and start again.
