:cheer2: Hi folks,
In January, we will be going to WDW! Yay!

Now, My dbf is a disney junkie, just like me. We both have Disneyland Annuals, and go often.

He has only been to Florida once, when he was 9, just after epcot opened. He doesn't really remember much and all.

I wanted to make this trip unbelievable for him (especially since he is only going because I'm running the marathon, and he wants to support me in that).

I was hoping I could get something awesome delivered to our room when we check in. Maybe a basket of some sort of goodies.

Do you guys know (a) if you can do this if you are reserved through disney directly (not small world travel, etc.) (b) if anyone online has pictures or a list of what sorts of things you can do. (c) if anyone online has a generalized price list?

Any help would be appreciated.

-Tina.

GO to www.disneyflorist.com. Then find "our own unique gifts." There are lots of ideas there, and if you call them, they can customize anything for you.

Here is a picture of the Halloween Stitch basket I ordered for my son this past October. I had it customized - the basic one has less stuff in it. It came out great!

I also rec'd a lovely basket from WDW florist while on our Oct trip. Lots of yummy chocolates! I will post a pic when I get them.

Tina, remember that you won't be able to have anything waiting in your room before check in unless you are staying at concierge level. If not, then you may have to delay going to your actual room while the delivery takes place.

scanne, love your basket!!!! When you customized your basket was the Walt Disney World Florist full of suggestions for you?? I would not know what specifically to ask for. Great idea! :earsboy:

On our recent trip in October we celebrated my DH's b-day so I had the WDW florist send him a customized basket of goodies including balloons and a stuffed Mickey. It was wonderful and when I ordered it I just told them what I would like in it. It included, all typed of really good chocolate inc. a large box of Disney signature chocolates, wine, mickey wine glasses, wine cork opener, cheeses and crackers. My DH loved it, and it was delivered shortly after check-in, at which time my DH jumped into the hot tub with all his goodies. It was too funny!! :rotfl2:

Actually, it all depends. Sometimes, the rooms are actually assigned prior to check in. In such case, they will send a runner to deliver the basket to the room prior to your arrival. Other times, the room is assigned upon check in and the basket may be presented to you at that time.

Last trip, flowers were delivered while we were at the park the first day. FeralPig, don't you make baskets too?

I did. At this time, I'm not taking any orders. Thanks for asking!
