How often is the website updated for current availability? Ex. if i cancel a ressie now, will it automatically show up on MS or will it show up tomorrow morning

I seem to remember other members saying they saw it pretty quickly after they canceled their reservation. But it might go to someone on the waitlist or it might get snatched by someone just waiting for that one to show up.

The computer system should recognize very quickly after it is done but it is unlikely you will see a change to what is being shown as available. If it is for a time and room for which availability is still being shown, there would be no noticeable change on the website since it only tells you whether something is available not how many rooms in the same category are available. If it is for a time and room for which the website is currently showing as unavailable, then the only way it should end up as a noticeable website change is if there is no applicable wait list and for any time and room for which the system is currently showing no availability, there likely is an applicable wait list.
