Room Animals

Stayed at ASMo for 10 nights in 2005, gave a good tip every day and got one towel animal (a bird) and one day the room was filthy and we didn't even get soap or shampoo. Stayed at Pop in 2006 for 14 nights and got no towel animals. I also have a child who always has a stuffed animal and toys with him so they knew there was a child in our room. I don't think there really is a way to make it more likely to get towel animals with tips, children, notes etc. My opinion, is it's luck of the draw. With all that being said getting or not getting a towel animal will not mean you will have any less or more fun at Walt Disney World. It is all in what you make of your vacation and enjoying the possibility of a magical moment. I can't say I had any less fun on our trip without towel animals than the one with but it is always nice to hold out hope for any kind of magical moment.

1) All housekeepers are trained how to do towel animals.
2) Except those employed through temporary staffing companies.
3) Some housekeepers even do advanced animals.
4) Getting them is just the luck of the draw.
. . . if you get a maid that feels like doing it for you
. . . if you get a maid that hasn't got a tough workload that day
5) Over all, feel good when you get them, but not disappointed if you don't.

maybe a dumb question, but if you get these towel animals do you get to keep them or do you leave them when you check out?

whatever you wish. i've always left mine but i've never had a use for them at home. but i have yet to hear of disney charging anyone for missing towel bunnies.

We got 3 on our last trip at POFQ! It was my girl's first trip, so this made it extra special. They wanted to take them with us, but I left them because I wasn't sure if we could or not.

Not a dumb question at all. It was such a controversy last year that we wrote to Disney and got their official reply:
